Storybook Character Play (Preschool Ages 3 - 5 years)
Tues 10 – 11 am; Tuition $95

Class Description: Using
some of our favorite storybook friends, preschoolers will explore
acting concepts and forms of expression through music and movement, in
a supportive and familiar environment. Children will enjoy developing
different characters through “make pretend” in a highly
collaborative environment that encourages creative play, imagination,
social interaction, and listening skills. Parents/caregivers should be
prepared to stay if your child needs additional support during a class.
All parents/caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 15 minutes of
class to share this developing appreciation of the arts. This class is
appropriate for new students and those who are returning for multiple
sessions.
Music, Movement and Me (Preschool Ages 3 – 5 years)
Tues 11 – noon; Tuition $95

Class Description: Join
us in exploring music and movement using rhythm instruments, props, and
music of different styles and traditions. Our preschoolers will explore
creative movement and use the body to make musical sounds such as
clapping, stamping, tapping, and snapping. Instruments, musical games,
and songs will expose the children to musical elements such as pitch,
beat, duration, dynamics, and listening skills. Parents/caregivers
should be prepared to stay if your child needs additional support
during a class. All parents/caregivers are encouraged to attend the
last 15 minutes of class to share this developing appreciation of the
arts. This class is appropriate for new students and those who are
returning for multiple sessions.
