Program
Description: Homeschool parents who are not otherwise
involved in the ongoing Homeschool classes are invited to enjoy a quiet
corner of relaxation and creative thought while their children enjoy
Music, Movement and Me, and Choir, and Play Rehearsal. We will set
aside a special room during this timeframe for you to work
independently or in groups to express yourself through the arts. For
example, you may want to use this time to write (poetry, music, a play,
your journal), rehearse (voice, instrumental, one-act plays and
scenes), or work on an aspect of the Homeschool Play such as costumes
or props. Please let us know if you would also like us to set aside a
separate room for our younger homeschool children for the period of 2 –
4 pm when Music, Movement and Me has ended, if you would like to
develop a cooperative childcare situation with other parents so that
the Creative Corner may continue during this time period. Parents are
encouraged to talk with the Artistic Director if you are in need of
additional space during this time frame or assistance with your
projects.
