About the Spotlight on the Future Capital Campaign

The goal for the Spotlight on the Future Capital Campaign is based on the project phases and budget set forth below. Details of the project budget are also available upon request. The Major Gifts Phase begins in January 2006 and will continue until support is secured from every Board and Capital Campaign Committee member, as well as the many community members who favor the project. During the subsequent Public Phase of the Capital Campaign, contributions will be sought from hundreds of area residents and businesses. Preparing for a Successful Campaign

Village Productions has laid the groundwork for a successful Capital Campaign by cultivating widespread support for the TriPAC Project. During 2004 and 2005, Village Productions presented the project at public functions and held multiple open meetings, seeking feedback and volunteers to serve as project leaders. Village Productions negotiated with Borough leadership to purchase 245 High Street and hold it for purposes of the TriPAC. We have engaged the support of our governmental leaders at both the local and state levels, and have developed a stellar Steering Committee and Leadership Team with broad representation from the Tri-County Region, including Philadelphia. In addition, area banks are developing a syndicated line of credit so that renovations may commence after certain Capital Campaign thresholds are met.

In addition to our Campaign leadership, the TriPAC Project has been endorsed by the Borough of Pottstown, the Tri-County Area Chamber of Commerce, Pottstown Area Industrial Development, Inc. (PAID), the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, as well as numerous school districts, performing arts organizations and other educational and community organizations. Moreover, after rigorous review, the Tri-County Area Capital Campaign Review Board officially endorsed the Spotlight on the Future Capital Campaign, evidencing their view that Village Productions is prepared for the Campaign and is expected to be successful in this endeavor. The positive outcome of our Feasibility Study further demonstrates that the Spotlight on the Future Capital Campaign will be successful.
