Ways to Register

Music, Movement and Me (Ages 3 – 5)
Sat 10:00 – 11:00 am
September 25th – November 20th, 2011 Tuition $95

Join in exploring music and movement using rhythm instruments, props, and music of different styles and traditions. Our preschoolers will explore creative movement and use the body to make musical sounds such as clapping, stamping, tapping, and snapping. Instruments, musical games, and songs expose the children to musical elements like pitch, beat, dynamics, and listening skills. Parents/caregivers should be prepared to stay if your child needs extra support during a class. All parents/caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 15 minutes of class to share this developing appreciation of the arts. This class is appropriate for new students and those who are returning for multiple sessions.

Students will create a short example of their work to present the last week of the session. Classes are appropriate for new students and for returning students to continue enhancing their skills.
