ALMOST, MAINE SHOWTIMES AND SPECIAL EVENTS (PLAY BY JOHN CARIANI)

Experience the power of human connection colored by the magic of the Aurora Borealis. Almost, Maine will leave you spent from laughter and thoroughly warmed from the inside out.

  • 3 Weekends! Thursday June 5th through Sunday June 22nd

  • Director: Visiting Artist Brian Drillinger (Broadway, Television, Film)

  • NEW LOCATION!!! Historic Yellow Springs Cultural Center, West Pikeland Township Building, 1645 Art School Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425

  • Seating is limited to approximately 100 seats per performance; please reserve early!

  • Special Preview Performance - Thursday, June 5th. Reduced price tickets - $12 for students/seniors 65+; $15 for adults!


  • Opening Night Reception - Friday, June 6th. Join us for a wine and cheese reception in the downstairs reception room with the Cast, Crew, and Director, immediately following the performance. Complimentary with ticket purchase for that evening’s performance. Music provided by instrumentalist and vocalist, Travis Wetzel.


  • Moose Paddy Bar Party With Sly Fox Brewery - Saturday, June 7th. Join us immediately following the performance on stage for live music with Patrick Smith, snacks, and Sly Fox beer tastings! Complimentary with ticket purchase for that evening’s performance.


  • Brunch, Theater, Talk Back, And TRI-PAC Tour - Sunday, June 8th, 12:30 pm. Enjoy a leisurely Sunday of scrumptious food, and great entertainment at Churchill’s in Pottstown, catered by The Johnson Kitchen. Then ride the bus or drive from Smith Family Plaza to see Almost, Maine. Enjoy a Talk Back with the Director, Visiting Artist Brian Drillinger, immediately following the show. Package: $39 per person (includes brunch, tax, gratuities, theater ticket, tour, and complimentary bus transportation). BYOB; menu available upon request. Reservations required. Brunch seating is limited; please reserve early.


    • Optional: meet at the Tri-County Performing Arts Center (245 High Street) at 11:45 a.m. for a tour of the construction site, prior to brunch.


    • Optional: bus transportation to the theater provided compliments of the Pottstown Downtown Foundation (departs Smith Family Plaza at 2:00 pm).


  • Talk Back With Director Brian Drillinger – Sunday, June 8th. Stay after the show for a talk back about Almost, Maine with the Director, Visiting Artist Brian Drillinger. On-stage. Complimentary with ticket purchase for that evening’s performance.


  • Surprise Visit And Talk Back With Playwright John Cariani – Keep an eye open for a surprise visit and talk back with John Cariani, New York playwright, Tony Award-nominated actor, and author of Almost, Maine, at one of the performances during the weekend of June 12th – 15th.


  • Dinner Theater With Brian Drillinger And TRI-PAC Tour - Thursday, June 12th, 4:30 pm. Start your weekend early with a gourmet dinner and lively theater conversation with the Director of Almost, Maine, Visiting Artist Brian Drillinger (Broadway, Film, Television), at Churchill’s in Pottstown, catered by The Johnson Kitchen. Then ride the bus or drive from Smith Family Plaza to see Almost, Maine. Package: $49 per person (includes dinner, tax, gratuities, theater ticket, tour, and complimentary bus transportation). BYOB; menu available upon request. Reservations required. Dinner seating is limited; please reserve early.

  • Stories From The Road With Lisa And Brian – Friday, June 13th. Join our hometown gal, television and film actress Lisa Waltz and her good friend, Almost, Maine Director and Visiting Artist Brian Drillinger, for a trip down memory lane as they share their stories from the Broadway road tour and feature film of Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs (working with Dr. McDreamy Patrick Dempsey, Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander, the legendary Blythe Danner, and many others). On stage immediately following the show; complimentary with ticket purchase for that evening’s performance.


  • Talk Back With The Cast, Crew And Director - Saturday, June 14th. Stay after the show for a talk back about Almost, Maine with the Director, Visiting Artist Brian Drillinger (Broadway, Film, Television). On stage immediately following the show; complimentary with ticket purchase for that evening’s performance.


  • Father’s Day Special - Sunday, June 15th. Dads receive complimentary cake and a beverage with your ticket to celebrate your special day!


  • Student Talk With Our Hometown Gal, Television And Film Actress Lisa Waltz - Sunday, June 15th. Students and their families are invited to attend a special talk back with Limerick native and Spring-Ford graduate, Lisa Waltz (Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs, Without a Trace, CSI, Side Order of Life, Boston Legal, Bones, Nip/Tuck, Frasier, Touched by an Angel, My So-Called Life, and many others productions!) about growing up in Limerick and making it “in the business.” On stage, immediately following the performance. Complimentary with ticket purchase for that day’s performance.


  • Complimentary Bus Trips From Smith Family Plaza June 8th And June 12th – Sunday, June 8th (bus leaves at 2:00 pm) and Thursday, June 12th (bus leaves at 6:00 pm). No more worries about finding the theater or arriving on time! Sign up for free bus transportation with the purchase of your ticket, provided by the Pottstown Downtown Foundation. Bus leaves Smith Family Plaza (152 High Street, Pottstown). Reservations required; space is limited.


  • Talk Back With Cast, Crew & Artistic Director, Debbie Snow – Thursday, June 19th. Meet with the production team of Almost, Maine immediately after the show for an informal Q&A about the production and the Tri-County Performing Arts Center.
